Frame-by-frame versus one-and-done
On a still, you draw once, export once, verify once. On a ten-second phone clip at 30 fps you have three hundred frames. A face can translate, scale, and rotate. Camera motion versus subject motion
If the camera pans while the subject walks, the face’s pixel coordinates change from two motions combined. A dashcam clip moves the plate relative to the hood and the background. A handheld protest video jitters. Trackers must estimate motion or you fall back to oversized boxes that destroy more of the frame than intended — still missing corners when motion is fast.
